Mr. Gino Rae C. Contreras, POPCOM I RPFP Regional Coordinator, presents the overview of the PPMP and its components.

In collaboration with the Association of Municipal Health Officers of the Philippines (AMHOP) Ilocos Sur Chapter, the Commission on Population and Development (POPCOM) I provided a Philippine Population Management Program (PPMP) orientation to the Municipal Health Officers of Ilocos Sur on January 28, 2020 in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur.

The orientation was aimed to raise the awareness and promote the population program in the locality. It was facilitated by the AMHOP Vice Presidents for District 1 and 2 of Ilocos Sur Dr. Haydelina G. Pascua (LGU Lidlida) and Dr. Lioba V. Tolentino (LGU Bantay), respectively.

Mr. Gino Rae C. Contreras, POPCOM I RPFP Regional Coordinator, facilitated the orientation of the PPMP and its components. Ms. April Reynne G. Pascua, POPCOM-I Population Representative, presented a brief description of POPCOM initiatives under the PPMP components.

As an agreement, POPCOM will provide a list of POPCOM initiatives and programs such as U4U Teen Trail and demand generation activities for couples and individuals to the Municipal Health Officers as reference for their future projects.
