The Provincial Population, Cooperative and Livelihood Development Office (PPCLDO) of Pangasinan have been awarded as the Most Outstanding Provincial Population Office in the region. Mr. Ellsworth G. Gonzales (seventh from left), PPCLDO Head, was also awarded as the Most Outstanding Provincial Population Officer in region 1. Plaques of recognition and cash prizes have been awarded to the regional winners.

The Commission on Population and Development (POPCOM)-I, through its Population and Development (POPDEV) program, recognized the outstanding and significant performances and contributions of local population offices and workers in promoting and implementing the population management program and strategies in their localities during its 2019 Regional Kaunlarang Pantao Awarding Ceremony held on October 25, 2019 at Oasis Country Resort, City of San Fernando, La Union.

  • Most Outstanding Municipal Population Office – Municipal Population Office of Alcala, Pangasinan
  • Most Outstanding Provincial Population Officer – Mr. Ellsworth G. Gonzales (PPCLDO)
  • Most Outstanding City Population Officer – Dr. Luisa F. Cayabyab (San Carlos City, Pangasinan)
  • Most Outstanding Municipal Population Officer – Ms. Letecia M. Quiocho (Alcala, Pangasinan)
  • Most Outstanding Barangay Population Officer – Ms. Josephine E. Lacambra (Brgy. Bantayan, Mangaldan, Pangasinan)

Gracing the occasion was Department of Health Undersecretary and POPCOM Executive Director Juan Antonio Perez III.
